PLEASE NOTE - STUDENTS COMMENCING ON COURSES FROM 1 SEPTEMBER 2008: TWO HOMES GRANT IS BEING PHASED OUT AND WILL NOT APPLY TO THOSE STARTING ON OR AFTER THIS DATE. HOWEVER, STUDENTS ENTERING THEIR SECOND AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS FROM 01.09.08 WILL STILL BE ABLE TO APPLY PROVIDING THEY MEET THE NECESSARY CRITERIA.

This allowance is payable if you maintain a home for yourself and one or more dependents other than your term-time address.

To qualify, you must be in receipt of an income assessed basic award and also be receiving the Dependents Allowance

This allowance will pay up to £896.00 per annum, and to apply, you must include with your NHS Bursary application form documentary evidence that you have to maintain two homes whilst you are studying.
